......All booking
conditions are superseded by those stated by the Pic du Midi letting
agency. ......PAYMENT The deposit to confirm the booking
on our agent’s contract is 25% of the letting price with the balance being
paid 30
days before your arrival. Rental periods run from Saturday to Saturday unless
otherwise agreed. Payment is made in Euros directly to our management agent
in Barèges who will accept VISA and Mastercard over
the phone, bank transfer or a French cheque. |

|
......ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE Clients are asked to arrive
between 3 pm and 6 pm at the agency and must leave the apartment by 10 am on
the day of departure, unless other arrangements are agreed prior to arrival
or departure. |
|
|
|
|
|
......SECURITY DEPOSIT AND TOURIST
TAX The deposit against damages is
450€. Cheques are sent AFTER an end-of-stay inspection has been made. If
anything is wrong with the apartment, the client will be contacted by phone
by the agent. Settlement by the client can then made either by sending a cheque
for the required amount, after which the agent will send off their deposit
cheque. Alternatively the client can leave their credit card details,
and the agent will debit their credit card if there are any breakages or
money owing. In addition, you will be
liable for local tourist tax at a rate of 0.50 Euros per day per person (13
years and older). |

......CLEANING AND LINEN Cleaning will be carried
out prior to your arrival. House linen is provided but laundry costs have not
been included in the rental fee. This will be charged locally and by usage.
You are asked to leave the apartment in a clean state and you will be charged
if we have to do a significant clean before the next tenant arrives. Again
this will be charged locally. |

|
|
|
......PARTY SIZE Your party must not exceed
eight adults. |
|
|
|
|
|
......INSURANCE We recommend strongly that
you take out Comprehensive Personal Travel Insurance which will provide you
with a suitable degree of personal/public liability protection and Holiday
Cancellation Insurance in the event of cancellation. You should also have
sufficient insurance to cover any damage you may occasion (fire, flood,
injury to a third party, etc) as legal proceedings may be taken against you
to recover the costs of any damage that you may have incurred. The use of the
accommodation is entirely at the visitor’s risk and no responsibility can be
accepted for injury or illness during a visitor’s stay, nor loss or damage to
personal belongings or car. |

|
......CONTRACT The apartment is managed
locally in Barèges so the contract you sign will be between you and the
agency. No contract will exist until they have received the required deposit
and have issued the official confirmation invoice. |

|
|
|
|
......STATED INFORMATION Great care has been taken
to ensure the accuracy of the information contained on our website relating
to any service advertised. However, all statements as to the condition of the
property or other services included on the website must not be treated as
statements of fact but statements of opinion. |

|
|
|
|
......LATE BOOKINGS Bookings within 30 days of
departure are deemed late bookings. Full payment is required immediately and
once received by our local agent, all booking conditions apply. |

|
|
|
|
......OUR LIABILITY TO YOU We have taken all due care
in making the arrangements applicable to your holiday but we cannot accept
liability in respect of any injury, loss or damage caused to you. |
|
|
|
|
|
......ANIMALS We regret that our guests
cannot bring animals to Harrsica. |
|
|
|
|
|
......CANCELLATIONS If you wish to cancel all
or part of your booking, or we cancel the booking due to non-payment, then
the following charges will apply:- 30 days or more before your holiday –
Deposit retained 30 days or less before your holiday –
Full rental charge retained. However, there is a
cancellation insurance included in the contract, so if the conditions permit,
you may be reimbursed for part or all of your money paid for the
accommodation, less the 35€ cancellation fee. Our local agent will be able to
advise you. In the event that you have
to cancel your holiday we shall try and re-let the period you have booked and
if successful will reimburse your deposit less costs incurred in the
re-letting. If for any reason beyond
our control we have to cancel your booking we will refund the amount paid to
us for the property, and our local agent will do her best to find you
alternative accommodation. The client will be liable for any cancellation
charges for travel. |

......LAW AND JURISDICTION Your contract with our
local agent is governed by French Law and is thus subject to French
jurisdiction. |
